Why does the high frequency transformer make abnormal noise

Recently, customers often receive the problem that the transformer will beep or whine. So in this article, let's briefly explain the reason why the high-frequency transformer squeaks.

As you know, sound is produced by medium vibration. The audible frequency of the human ear ranges from 20 Hz to 20000 Hz. The squealing of transformer is mainly due to the low-frequency oscillation during the operation of transformer, which makes the magnetic molecules of magnetic core produce mechanical vibration under the magnetic field, thus causing the vibration and sound of surrounding air.

There are four main reasons for transformer squealing:

(1) Transformer manufacturing process defects

(2) Loop problem of transformer

(3) Load problem of switching power supply

The above is the general reason of abnormal noise of high frequency transformer.
